Description
This is a single sided record that was recently uncovered from my great grandfathers collection in my parents loft. We have nothing to play this on so have decided to sell it to someone that would appreciate it.
E.Berlingers GRAMOPHONE RECORD "Love's Old Sweet Song" sung by Mr Bryce. London.
All the text on the record is hand written at the time of recording except for a stamp to the right of the hole stating E 2181. There is a hand written date 12.09.98 (Which I assume is 1898).
There is a E.Berliner logo at the top which says "E.BERLINER'S Gramophone. Covered by English and Continental Patents". There is a Trade Mark Angel logo to the left of the hole.
The condition is good except for a scratch which is thin in nature and runs across the grooves and there are a few surface marks/scratches. The photos try to show the condition of the surface but considering its age there is little to indicate that the play quality would be anything other than as expected for a record of this age. There is a little deteriation on about 1 inch of the edge where the top surface has flaked off but this is not on the grooved section.
When I post this I will wrap the record securely within stiff card and bubble wrap and will send it recorded delivery.

POSTAGE COSTS FOR EUROPE £8.00 with extra cost if additional insurance is required at £5.15 on top of the postage price plus an extra £2.60 for compensation if the value is over £50.00.
