PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
VERY RARE original Brian Gardner mastered first Specialty pressing on Sire from 1987 with printed inner sleeve with complete lyrics!!! LP is VG+ with a few light paper scuffs. Cover is VG/VG+ with a hint of ring. Auction also includes not one, but two ULTRA RARE rigid two-sided 12 X 12 in-store promotional displays put out by Sire in 1987 with WEA credit at the bottom and album cover art on the reverse!!! I purchased these from a former Tower Records (R.I.P.) manager here in Chicago who dug the Bunnymen and saved this pair from the Tower wall for her own private collection (which was staggeringly impressive). She told me that 99% of these displays were either tossed after they were displayed or never displayed at all and then tossed. Tower staff saw them as disposable swag and clutter and as a result very few survived from the 1980s so don't sleep post punk collectors. You won't see another lot like this.

GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
