EDDIE BOYD AND HIS BLUES BAND FEATURING PETER GREEN

UK ORIGINAL DECCA ALBUM LK4872 MONO FROM 1967

THE VINYL HAS NOT BEEN PARTICULARLY WELL CARED FOR AND HAS CONSIDERABLE SURFACE MARKING. THERE'S A NEEDLE SCRATCH ON TRACK 7 SIDE ONE WHICH PLAYS THROUGH BUT DOES POP. SIDE TWO HAS NO BAD SCRATCHES, JUST GENERAL PLAY MARKING. VINYL GRADE VG. AUDIBLY THE RECORD PLAYS WELL ON MY HIGH-END HI-FI AS THE MAJORITY OF THE MARKING IS SUPERFICIAL AND DOESN'T AFFECT THE ACTUAL GROOVES OF THE RECORD.

THE LABELS ARE CLEAN AND WRITING FREE WITH QUITE A BIT OF SPINDLE BRUISING ROUND THE CENTRE HOLE AND OUTWARDS.

THE SLEEVE IS GOOD AND FLAT WITH SOME MINOR SPINE CREASES AND A SLIGHT CREASE IN THE LAMINATE BOTTOM LEFT CORNER. THE UNLAMINATED BACK IS CLEAN AND WHITE WITH JUST SLIGHT HANDLING TO THE OPENING EDGE.

THIS IS A PRETTY RARE ALBUM FEATURING BASICALLY FLEETWOOD MAC PLUS OTHER STAPLES OF THE 1960's UK BLUES SCENE LIKE JOHN MAYALL.
