1959 session promo
Eddie Cochran was more than just a rock star, he was also one of the most in-demand session guitarist on the west coast. In the years 1958-1959 he cut tracks for many other musicians including Jack Lewis, Buddy Lowe, The Four Dots, Jerry Neal and Bob Denton. This record was released as the Kelly Four, and is a group that included Eddie Cochran, Connie 'Guybo' Smith, Dave Shriver, Gene Riggio, and Jim Stivers.
Tracks here are “Strollin’ Guitar” and “Guybo.” The session seems to be August 25, 1959 at Goldstar in Hollywood.
CONDITION: VG++ with only a few light marks and totally clear labels.
