Description
This 1959 release was an opportunity for Eddie Cochran fans to buy the A sides of his first 4 UK singles on one convenient disc with the added bonus of a sleeve with a picture of Eddie from the film "The Girl Can't Help It" set in a red background. The later issues had an orange one. The record itself is the first pressing from early 1959 with a tri-centre rather than the 2nd pressing rounded type from 1960 onwards. The pictures confirm that this EP is an original, comparatively rare in such fine condition and thus a very much sought after item. EDDIE COCHRAN “C’MON EVERYBODY” EP LONDON RE-U 1214 Side One: C’mon Everybody / Sittin’ In The Balcony Side Two: Summertime Blues / 20 Flight Rock (All tracks recorded in USA 1958). Condition: SLEEVE is in top condition as illustrated with some light wear, small wrinkles in the laminate but there are no splits, no tears and no writing. RECORD is Excellent except for some light marks on the playing surfaces and a tape stain on Side 2's label [see picture]. These have no effect the sound and listening experience, which is first class. This 45-RPM Extended Play record is the original UK 1959 pressing.
