On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Eddie Cochran called "The Eddie Cochran Memorial Album" and is an ORIGINAL 1960 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press 'Grooved' London label!!!!   THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF EDDIE COCHRAN'S ALL TIME RAREST UK LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1960 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED IN THE UK - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS (AS A 1ST PRESSING!), AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY CHANGED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL - IT THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'PRE-RELEASE' MONO PRESSING - WITH THESE INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT DETAILS BELOW:-

1) THE COVER HAS 'HALF-MOON' FLIPBACKS (LATER ONES HAVE STRAIGHT FLIPBACKS INSTEAD!).

2) THE COVER HAS AN '8.60' DATE CODE (THIS LP WAS RELEASED IN THE UK IN SEPTEMBER 1960 - SO THIS LP WAS MADE 1 MONTH PRIOR TO RELEASE!).

3) THE COVER IS MUCH THINNER THAN LATER COVERS - EXACTLY LIKE ALL PREVIOUS 1950s COVERS (LATER ONES ARE THICKER!)

4) THE RECORD HAS 1B/1B MATRIXES & 1/H 1/H MOTHER & STAMPER CODINGS - CLEARLY SHOWING THAT IT WAS ONE OF THE FIRST 2000 COPIES EVER MADE!!!!

THESE IMPORTANT 'PRE-RELEASE' 1ST PRESS DETAILS ONLY LASTED 1 WEEK ONLY - IN THE FIRST WEEK OF PRESSING WAY BEFORE THE RELEASE DATE!!!!  EVEN COVERS MADE IN EARLY SEPTEMBER BEFORE THE LATE SEPTEMBER RELEASE DATE HAVE THE LATER 9.60 DATE CODE INSTEAD!!!!  BUT THIS ONE HAS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS '8.60' DATE CODING - AND IS QUITE LITERALLY THE 'EARLIEST' & RAREST 1ST PRESSING YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION - AND IS A VERY DECENT EXAMPLE INDEED!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1960 UK 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'GROOVED' LONDON LABEL, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 1B/1B MATRIX ENDINGS & 1/1 MOTHER CODINGS, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS '8.60' DATE CODE ON THE REVERSE OF THE COVER, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'THICKER PAPER' INNER SLEEVE, AND 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'HALF-MOON' FLIPBACK LAMINATED MONO COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL London UK 1st Pressing from 1960, and is in GREAT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on MEGA thick quality vinyl!!!!  The Cat. No is HA-G 2267 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press London label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few VERY light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!!  Most of these 50s/60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scufflines, NO hairlines, only 2 or 3 radial marks, only 2 or 3 absolutely ULTRA light surface traces, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!!  It plays with NO skips, barely ANY clicks, NO jumps, NO sticks, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  And whilst 2 of the radial lines are completely IGNORED by the stylus, there is 3 or 4 revolutions of interference on 1 track from 1 of them (but NO jumps!).  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Thicker Paper' inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The ORIGINAL 'Earliest' 1st Press Laminated 'Half-Moon' Flipback MONO Cover (with the EARLIEST 8.60 'Date Code!) is in GREAT condition!!!!  It has NO edge splits, NO edge wear, NO spine splits, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), NO rips, NO tears, only a few VERY light creases, NO laminate loss, shiny laminate, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in GREAT condition with NO grubbyness, VERY nice flipbacks (apart from 1 crease on the middle bottom flipback!), NO flipback loss AT ALL, NO yellowing (apart from some VERY minor foxing!), NO ringwear, only VERY slight rubbing, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must MEGA STRICTLY grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - though most I am certain would grade higher still here, as this is still a very VERY decent cover indeed - with absolutely NO major defects AT ALL!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO  DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!

Though there are rarely ever any problems with my items (I always try my very best to describe everything exactly!) - PLEASE REMEMBER to contact with me FIRST, if you have any problems at all, before you leave feedback and star ratings, so I get a chance to turn any negative experience into a positive one!  I can always happily sort anything out for you, if you let me know you have a problem!  This way no one has to leave Negative/Neutral feedback - and we both walk away happy!  Please do NOT bid if you cannot give me at least 1 chance to sort everything out to your FULL satisfaction in the unlikely event of a problem.  Thanks again - Graham @ XXXRecords.
