Hi,im sure you already know but you are looking at an original copy of eddie cochrans singing to my baby on london records plum label catalalogue number HA-U-2093.I purchased the record around 1984-85 from a friend who has had it from new.It has been played twice in 27years,and stored carefully since purchased.The cover as you can see is quite worn,the laminate is quite cracked and the cover has been folded at some point during its lifetime.The record plays beautifully.Ive just played it through for the first time in about 27 years,it crackles,it pops in places,no jumps! it sounds rich,echoey,and the crackle settles to a give a great old sound,very very clear,my ears have been robbed with cds!!.The disc does have surface marks over it,but i am becoming more reluctant to part with it,but it needs to be cherished and owned by someone else now,ive had the pleasure.I know the ball park price i want,i dont know the value of it i havent checked but i do remember it was scarce even at the time i bought it,so i have put a start price quite high,if its too high then i get to keep it,thanks for looking.Sorry just to add,the sleeve doesnt have tears,and isnt falling apart,it is sound but the laminate marks make it appear worse than it is.
