Artist:   EDDIE COSTA QUARTET

Title:   “GUYS and DOLLS like VIBES”

Label:   CORAL.  Monaural pressing on medium thick vinyl, flat edge.  Label is burgundy with silver text, with deep groove.  Catalog number is CRL 57230.

Year:  1958.

Personnel:   Eddie Costa – vibes;  Bill Evans – piano;  Wendell Marshall – bass;  Paul Motion - drums.

Note:  This album comes from an extremely well cared-for jazz collection where the original owner cherished his albums, played them once or twice at most, and stored them under optimal conditions.  This is an excellent opportunity for the discriminating collector who insists on top condition.

Condition:

DISC:  Vinyl is gorgeous NEAR MINT, as clean as can be found.  The playing surface is immaculate, with a high luster, perhaps played once.  Plays flawlessly with superb fidelity.  Labels are clean and pristine.

JACKET:   Jacket (laminated) is nice VG+ to VG++.  Front art work is clean and bright.  Reverse is clean except for some very light spotting along the top, left edge, and bottom seam.  Otherwise, jacket would grade NM.  No writing, stickers, wear, or other flaws.   Overall a very presentable jacket to accompany the superb disc.
