WebVinyl Presents!Eddie Holland
“Eddie Holland” Original 33-1/3 RPM Vinyl 12” 1962 Red & White Lettering / Big Star Label Mono Northern Soul / Funk / R&B LP! No Reserve!
DESCRIPTION
Eddie Holland - “Eddie Holland” Motown Records MT 604 (Mono) from 1962. Hard to find Original Mono Press of this great Northern Soul / Funk / R&B album from Eddie Holland. On the Original “Second Version" Motown Label with Silver Print, the “Motown” Logo in Red, White and Blue with no Yellow or Orange and map of the United States extending from the Atlantic to the western edge of Kansas, with a Large red star at Detroit, Michigan, on the right side of the map. I believe this is a First Pressing but it does not have true Deep Groove labels like some examples do but rather a somewhat shallower groove or step. In any case, it is an Original Pressing. In the Original Cover with the Motown “Car” Logo in the bottom right corner.
CONDITION
The Sleeve is in great shape. There is some very slight basic shelf wear - really more just some slight diriness on the white cover - and corner softening / wear. There are two holes in the upper right corner, not sure if they are some form of cutout or maybe left from where stores used to staple price tags? Still very solid with no stains, splits, writing, tears, etc. and I would rate it as a strong VG+ probably edging up to EX if not for the holes. The Vinyl is in Pristine Glossy condition looking very lightly played. If you look closely you can find a few light scuffs but still very close to New condition. Plays pretty much perfectly Near Mint all through. I’m calling it EX to account for the very slight visual flaws. The Labels show one light spindle trail but are otherwise Near Mint.

Very Good (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing,... Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.
I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over twenty years on the net and I can count the returns I've had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But.... it also means that I don't issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. "That's not MY idea of a VG record!" - I don't know what your standards are and, as such, can't grade to them. I guarantee that items I sell will meet my description, nothing more or less! If you are not satisfied that a purchase meets my description, I will do what I can to make it right if you give me the chance and work with me! Please feel free to check my feedback.

Please read and understand: EBay / PayPal now requires door to door tracking and Insurance on all shipments! I strongly encourage customers to choose this option for both of our protection.
