This is an original Japanese press of this hard to find salsa rare groove record, recorded live at the Sing Sing prison. Of the two volumes this one is the best, even thought they’re both fabulous. "Azucar" is the thing that sets this album apart, the song is tight enough as a salsa song, then about 2 minutes in, all of the sudden it starts to get super funky and turns into a salsoul funk collaboration before later returning to salsa dura. Unbelievable song, has to heard to be believed, like a rare groove dream come true taking the best parts of latin music and the best parts of funk into one mix. This one also includes Original Last Poet Felipe Luciano performing his poem, "Jibaro Mi Negro Lindo/Jibaro My Pretty Nigg*" in english and spanish. A classic rare groove gem.

Cover/Record: VG++/NM Cover has some browning on the front, piece of tape on the back cover. The vinyl is a gorgeous piece of Near Mint wax, Japanese Pressing. Includes the original insert which is in both Japanese, English and Spanish.
