I have decided to slowly start parting with my own personal vinyl collection. This has been a difficult decision. I spent many a happy year, hunting, buying, upgrading my collection. I will try and provide as much info as possible, but if you require more photos or any other info don't hesitate to get in touch.

The collection consists of Rock, Prog, Psych, Folk, Beat mainly from the 60's and 70's. Plenty of Vertigo, Harvest and Island originals as well as Beatles, Stones, Hendrix, Who etc.

I will also include multiple photos in my listings, detailing as much as possible.

Bid with confidence - I am a long time collector. I understand collecting and grading. I don't over grade and will refund you fully on return of the item if not entirely satisfied.

All UK items will be sent by 1st class recorded. I will combine postage where possible, I always undercharge P&P costs - please bear this in mind when leaving feedback/DSRs.

First week of issue!!! SO rare, only a couple of hundred of these earliest first presses were ever issued, how many would have survived to this day??

THE LABELS

The labels are classic green Harvest design without EMI box logo or 'Sold In The UK' text  but with 'The Gramophone Co' perimeter text.  The labels have no flaws.  I grade the labels as EX condition, I generally only use mint only for sealed records.

Vinyl weight: 138g

Gatefold Sleeve:  VG+.  Fantastic looking gatefold sleeve with only one two scuffs to the front. The spine is 100% legible. The outside of the sleeve is fully laminated. The inside gatefold is excellent without any smudges or writing. What a smashing looked after sleeve, hard to imagine that this is now 46(!!) years old.

The original inner "Harvest" sleeve is also still present with ads of some very rare Harvest issues like e.g. "Bakerloo, Quatermass, Forest" etc.

Vinyl: VG+ to EX.  Both surfaces retain their original deep, glossy sheen and are practically unmarked and shine like new. There are a couple of light and superficial hairlines but these have no audio consequence - the record sounds sensational!!
 Outstanding audio delivery in all respects with a crystal clear, deep, rich, warm and detailed sound and on playback at a loud volume (which is how I always listen to my LPs prior to listing and it's always an immense pleasure to return to this one) there are no scratches, no sticks or jumps, no clicks or pops and barely any surface noise (really hardly anything worth a mention and to be incredibly picky, maybe just a touch on the run-ins). This is a beautifully clean pressing (and I must emphasise again how difficult it is to find a copy which plays this well). The whole LP sounds absolutely stunning and plays to an extremely high standard with superb clarity, no groove-wear and no distortion and is very strictly graded a strong EX for audio  - great copy!! Of course, NO skips, NO jumps, NO ticks.
