Description
This item is unusual in a collection of hundreds of 78 records. It's the only box for all the records and it doesn't match any record in the collection. It's an original EDISON RECORD BOX FOR A DIAMOND DISC RECORD.
The number was 82019 for "IN QUELLE TRINE MORBIDE" AND "ROMANZA ANDALUZA".
The box is as seen in the picture. It has both a top and a bottom. The top I believe could be cleaned. The edges of the top are quite worn with a 3 inch gap on the right hand edge. The original cloth inside is not glued down on a portion of the bottom and the edges of the cloth around where the record would have been (and the center hole) are stained.
It needs some work, but if you have the record, here's a chance at the box (which based on our very limited experience is somewhat rare).
