Description
Here's an LP that chronicles a forgotten pocket of the 1970s music scene in Venice Beach. It's extremely rare; only a handful of copies have surfaced. One side is entirely by an artist named Edward Zimmerman, whose piano-driven songs are haunting and entirely unique. The other side features some more conventional hippie folk by several artists—Roger & Jolene, Alice Brown and Michael Horn. This copy includes the original printed blue paper foldover insert and plain white cover. The disc in in VG condition; visually, it only appears to have surface scuffs, but there is audible crackle and pop throughout. The audio linked below comes directly from this copy:
