Up for grabs here is one seriously rare Northern Soul monster by Edwin Starr. This is the demo/promotional copy. Probably no more than 100 to 200 copies (if that) were issued in the 'demo/promo' format of which was standard practice back in the 60's. I doubt many copies will still be kicking about and especially not in this great condition.

The record plays a close EX with loud and punchy audio both sides. Some very light and wispy hairlines with just one slightly more noticeable mark on the B-side, no major effects to play at all. No nasty hiss/crackle, no jumps/skips, no repetitive clicking/popping. Some light background noise on run-in but audio is loud and clear.
