EGG 1st LP 1969 DERAM NOVA 1st Press MINT WITHDRAWN COVER TEXT

On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Egg called "Egg" and is an ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Deram Nova Label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS WAS EGG'S FIRST & RAREST LP EVER AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1969 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! 

BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - WITH A WITHDRAWN TRACK CREDITED ON THE COVER!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  INCREDIBLY - DESPITE THIS LP ON SELLING IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, THERE WERE ACTUALLY THREE DIFFERENT PRESSINGS OF THIS LP!!!!  WHEN THIS LP WAS DUE FOR RELEASE - AT THE VERY LAST MOMENT 'MOVEMENT 3' ON SIDE 2 WAS DENIED COPYRIGHT, AND WITHDRAWN PRIOR TO THE RELEASE DATE - AND THEREFORE NEVER PRESSED ONTO THE RECORD (NONE EXIST)!!!!  HOWEVER, CLEARLY SOMEONE FORGOT TO TELL THE COVER MANUFACTURER - AS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS ARE RADICALLY DIFFERENT TO ALL LATER PRESSINGS!!!!  AND FOR THOSE WHO DONT KNOW - HERE ARE THE 3 DIFFERENT PRESSINGS:-

1) 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING - THIS ONE (ONLY A FEW HUNDRED COPIES ONLY!) - 'SILVER TEXT' ON THE LABELS, THE WITHDRAWN TRACK 'MOVEMENT 3' IS CREDITED ON THE COVER!!!!  THERE IS ALSO A COMMENT ON THE COVER ABOUT THE TRACK 'MOVEMENT 3'.  ORIGINALLY ALL COPIES WITHOUT EXCEPTION HAD THIS TEXT COVERED WITH A STICKER - HOWEVER THE 1 PREVIOUS OWNER REMOVED THE STICKER IN 1969 BEFORE IT DRIED OUT (TODAY THE STICKERS WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE TO REMOVE), AND THEREFORE THIS IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE ONLY COVERS WHERE YOU CAN READ THE ORIGINAL COVER TEXT!!!!  FROM THE COVER IT STATES:- "Movement 3 is taken from the 'Danse Des Adolesents' from Stravinsky's 'Rite Of Spring'.  The repeated chorus effect is used on stage, continuing for several minutes, but this would obviously not have worked on record".  THIS COVER ALSO ANSWERS THE 'FANTASY' PERPETRATED BY MANY PEOPLE THAT THE TRACK 'BLANE' WAS INVENTED TO FILL 'MOVEMENT 3's REMOVAL.  THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT THE CASE - THE ORIGINAL TEXT HAS THE TRACK 'BLANE' INCLUDED IN THE TRACKLISTING!!!!  SO AT LEAST WE GET AN IDEA OF 'MOVEMENT 3' EVEN IF NO ONE EVER GOT TO ACTUALLY HEAR IT!!!!

2) 2ND PRESSING (OR STANDARD 1ST PRESSING!) - 'SILVER TEXT' ON THE LABELS, 'MOVEMENT 3' HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE COVER! 

3) 3RD PRESSING - 'BLACK TEXT' ON THE LABELS, 'MOVEMENT 3' IS NOT CREDITED.  LABELS ARE BRIGHT ORANGE.  EXISTS IN STEREO ONLY - AND IS PROBABLY A YEAR OR TWO AFTER RELEASE.

ONLY A FEW HUNDRED COPIES WERE EVER MADE WITH THE 'WITHDRAWN TRACK' CREDITED ON THE COVER - AND EVEN LESS EXIST TODAY WHERE YOU CAN ACTUALLY READ IT (ALL OF THESE COVERS WERE STICKERED TO COVER IT UP!)!!!!  SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST' & RAREST 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION (WITH AN ABSOLUTELY AWESOME RECORD!) AND CLEARLY HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS DERAM NOVA LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'MOORE & MATTHES' LAMINATED COVER (WITH 'WITHDRAWN' COVER TEXT!)!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Deram Nova UK 1st Pressing from 1969 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is SDN 14 on the 1st Press Deram Nova label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing!!!!

The record labels (see pictures) are in SUPERB condition with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in absolutely AWESOME condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, only 2 or 3 absolutely ULTRA light TINY surface traces, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS AMAZING!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade MINT(Minus)!!!!  AWESOME RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Moore & Matthes' Laminated Cover (with WITHDRAWN Cover Text!) is in GREAT condition!!!!  The cover has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), NO splits, only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), NO stickers, typical slight dulling to the laminate, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  It is also worth noting, that were the 1 previous owner removed the sticker in the top left corner on the cover back, inevitably there are some wear marks which he 'touched in'.  That said, most of the text in this corner is FULLY readable, especially the ALL IMPORTANT 'Withdrawn' text AND the the 'Withdrawn' Tracklisting!!!!  Apart from this, the unlaminated back of the cover has NO yellowing, NO grubbyness, only some typical slight rubbing, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - and is still a very VERY decent cover indeed, and one of the ONLY covers left in EXISTENCE where you can actually read the WITHDRAWN cover text!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
