Description
From my personal collection comes this early pressing vinyl LP on Caroline Records, UK, which features special guests Tim Hodgkinson and Lindsay Cooper from Henry Cow. I bought this used in about 1983, and after some research, I believe the original owner combined an original pressing cover (1974) with a second pressing vinyl LP (1976). The back cover has "E.J.D." in the lower left corner, making this a 1st pressing cover. However, the LP has matrix numbers C1510 A-2 and C1510 B-2, which is the 1976 repressing. Curious.
The vinyl is PLAY GRADED at VG+, with a little minor surface noise and a few pops and ticks here and there. I listened to this in its entirety recently, and it is still a decent listen. The cover is solid VG and looks quite good at first glance, however there is a small split on the bottom and there is normal shelf wear with some edge/spine/corner wear and some minor creasing. Finally, the seam glue has failed entirely on both top and bottom seams, which is nothing a little Elmer's Glue can't fix, but I'll leave that to its new owner. Please see the hi-res photos for the general lay of the land. I need to clear out some space, so this gem is in search of a new home.
