The film is an anthology of Italian scenes captured from real life with a clear spectacular intent and somewhat controversial.  In this documantary, filmed as a "Mondo Movie on Italian subject" the scenes of folklore go for more together with those with traditions nowadays anachronistic,  aspects of religion, society, vice, curiosity, social problems, quirks and excesses of all kind.

Italian social and religious traditions are musically described with great talent by EGISTO MACCHI, the innovative composer of the score "ITALIANI COME NOI",  a musical journey through Italian strengths and weaknesses. 

A superb whirl of blithe, romantic, dramatic, folk,  percussive and experimental themes on an overall symphonic and chorale tapestry, conducted with masterly cleverness by BRUNO NICOLAI.

Jacket :    VG+  

Light cardboard jacket, in VG+ condition, with seams and spine in great condition, corners with minimal wear, some creases on both front and back. On the back cover, the flipbacks are very well preserved with no tear, just with a few minimal creases. Light ring wear on both sides and slight yellowing due to the age and the delicate ivory white original colour. Please, look at my cover scan.

Vinyl :   EX+ 

Under a strong light the shiny vinyl could be also graded as NM, probably played a couple of times only, without any rub or visual defect, just as new. Aurally the record presents some light occasional surface noise in places (probably due to the pressing standard).

Catalogue/Label :

LP SONIC SCT 0377 original Italian mono only pressing. Labels are in NM condition and show a few tiny signs around the spindle hole. Please, look at my label scans.  

GRADING CODE

Grading is VISUAL, under a bright light. 

        NM  (Near Mint): Record has been opened, and probably played, but is in impeccable condition. I do not use "mint".

EX   (Excellent): Has signs of use or storage, but still considered top collection quality. Jackets may display some very light wear; vinyl may have a few light sleeve marks only visible in the highest light. Sound will full and clear, with little if any noise (NOTE, some records are just pressed poorly).

VG+ (Very Good Plus): Still a great copy but has a bit more wear. Vinyl may have some light scuffs or scratches, but nothing deep. Jacket may have some ringwear or seamwear. Sound should be great, with minimal if any noise.

VG  Very Good): A great play copy but clearly used. Vinyl will display many hairline scuffs or scratches, but will play with a tolerable amount of noise. Jacket may have splits and wear but will not be falling apart.

VG-(Very Good Minus): A used or worn copy, that has not been taken good care of. Vinyl will have many scuffs or scratches, but play through enjoyably despite audible background noise. Covers will have tears, splits, writing, or other issues. 

 G  Fair, Poor: A very rough copy. Will play through without skipping unless otherwise noted, although records of this grade are sold AS-IS.
