Description

Victor records catalog, 1914 - "Arabian Records"

Stunning, 24 page catalog (5" x 7.25" - 12.5 x. 18.5 cm) issued in January of 1914 featuring Arabic records in the Victor catalog.

Most of the discs here appear to be Gramophone Company issues, largely from the master pressings. Featured in the 63000+ series, the 68000+ series, and the 45000+ series. Also, several pages of text in Arabic along with drawings of Victrolas and their prices.

Some of the artists listed: Sayed el Safti, Mounira El Mehdia, Mohamed Selim, Abd-El-Hai Hilmy, El Sette Bamba el Awada, Soliman Daoud, Amina El Arakia, and quite a few more.

Condition: As is: in tact and terrific, tiny marks and a couple of small folds

I will be selling a lot of amazing discs from around the world in the coming months. Please bookmark me and check back in.
