OK - BACK TO SOME GOOD COLLECTABLE 45s OF VARIOUS MUSICAL STYLES FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS - This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL 1967 U.S. DEESU RECORDS PROMO 45 RPM RECORD containing the songs titled 'Lovely Woman'/'What's Your Name' from Now Orleans soul man Eldridge Holmes. It is Deesu Records catalog number 45-305, and is a GUARANTEED 1967 ORIGINAL, NOT A 'REPRO' REPRODUCTION AND NOT A 'COLLECTORS PRESSING'!! This 45 appears to be a RARE ITEM which has not been offered on eBay either at auction or at fixed price sale during the past month as far as I can tell. This is a promo DJ copy with an inscription to that effect on the labels. This is a super two-sider - 'Lovely Woman' is a rare and classic 'Northern' dancer; 'What's Your Name' is the old early 1960s Don & Juan ballad. Condition of record is for all intents and purposes a SOLID NM with just a couple of extremely light and fine surface marks which only show up under strong light; I do not believe this record has ever been played. Labels have no problems. This rare promo 45 would be a prime addition to any 'Northern Soul' 45 record collection!
