Description
You are bidding on a signed Bev Bevan drumstick.
Bev Bevan has drummed for three legendary bands -
1) The Move in the 1960s/early 1970s - The Move's single 'Flowers in the Rain' was the first record played on Radio 1 back in 1967.
2) The Electric Light Orchestra (E.L.O.) - E.L.O. were one of the biggest bands in the world in the 1970s - they sold zillions of albums and had 26 hits in the U.K. alone.
3) Black Sabbath - Bev drummed for Sabbath in 1983/1984.
Following the split-up of E.L.O., Bev formed E.L.O. Part 2 in 1989. Featuring former members of E.L.O., E.L.O. Part 2 toured extensively in the U.K., Europe and worldwide.
This drumstick was given to me by Bev at the end of a show in Minehead, England in 1995 , and was signed in a 'meet and greet ' after. For those of a technical mind, the drumstick is a Zildjian Session Master ' selected hickory'. As you might expect from a hard hitting drummer, the drumstick is a bit worn, but it has not been used since it was given to me.
