Description
Extremely rare Electric Light Orchestra self titled 1971 debut LP UK Harvest SHVL797 in the textured cover gatefold jacket with the original lyric sheet insert. I purchased this record in 1971 and it is from my personal collection.
The vinyl is in "NM" condition with no scuffs, scratches or spindle wear; it is in the original poly lined Harvest catalog sleeve as issued. The Harvest/EMI label has the Gramophone perimeter text. The disc is extremely rare because it has two matrices stamped on the runoff grooves on each side: side one has SHVL797 A-1U and an inverted stamp with SHVL797 A//2; side two has SHVL797 B-1U and an inverted stamp with SHVL797 B//2.
The textured gatefold jacket is graded as "EX+" because it has a very slight amount of shelf wear on the bottom and I grade conservatively; no ringwear, seam splits, cutout holes or writing on it. Also included is the original yellow lyric sheet insert (see photos).
