Description
This is a copy of the original 1968 vinyl lp pressing of "Release of an Oath" by the Electric Prunes. Altho credited to the Prunes, this album is largely the brainchild of composer-producer David Axelrod and features performances by session aces Carol Kaye (bass), Earl Palmer (drums), Don Randi (keyboards), and Lou Morrell and Howard Roberts (guitar). Vocals appear to have been recorded by Prunes band members. Vinyl NM-/E+ with minimal scuffing and a couple of microscratches. Cover VG with moderate ring and shelf wear, a green price tag on the front, and a 1" by 1" black ink squiggle on back. Original WB/Reprise Records promo sleeve VG with moderate corner creasing, flare wear at the opening, and a half-inch tear at the right opening seam. Reprise Records RS 6316.
