I have recently obtained a large collection of UK Apple singles many of which are now listed. They include demo’s, factory sample promo’s, radio station promo’s, Wings Fun Club issues, UK Apple picture sleeve issues and some of the rarer singers. Many are in wonderful EXCELLENT+ condition. Elephants Memory 1972 UK 1st pressing of the double A side 'Power Boogie / Liberation Special' 7" single. Released on the 1st December 1972, this is a rare non charting UK Apple release.
The vinyl is housed within the original and correct matt 'Apple Records' sleeve. The ‘Power Boogie’ side has a shop or radio stamp on the label (see pictures). Both sides have the very earliest 1 G / 1 G STAMPERS making this one of the first 300 made alongside the demo issues.
'Elephants Memory' accompanied John Lennon and Yoko Ono as part of the 'Plastic Ono Band' on their albums 'Sometime in New York City', 'Approximately Infinite Universe' and 'Live in New York City'. John and Yoko also produced this single and the Apple self titled album from which it was taken 'Elephants Memory'. If memory serves me correct John and Yoko also play on this single.

Side 1. APPLE 45 A-1U 1 G KT
Side 2. APPLE 45 B-1U 1 G KT
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition on Liberation Special and VERY GOOD+ condition on Bower Boogie.
Both labels are in MINT- condition. BUT stamp on Bower Boogie side.
The sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition.
