Description

This great, rare item is the vintage vinyl record 'Schwarzkopf portrays Romantic Heroines'. Released on Columbia Records with the catalogue number SAX 2300 it is in, as can be seen, great condition looking little and carefully played. Examined carefully I can see no marks or signs of damage to the playing surface. In particular spindle marks around the centre hole - usually a good signifier that a record has been played a great deal or carelessly - are entirely absent. It has two tears to the sleeve to the top and bottom edges and a faint pen mark - it can just be seen by the gold 'Stereophonic' sticker. The label of side 2 has a large pen mark.

I have been buying and selling vinyl records for over thirty-five years and only list items for sale on eBay which are rare, in exceptional condition or, preferably, both. I always pack items with care to ensure they arrive in the same superb condition - record removed from sleeve and packed separately in the inner sleeve, three sheets of cardboard for stiffening and bubblewrap for more valuable items - and am willing to send worldwide. Postage services signed-for on delivery, tracked or with insurance can be arranged on request.

A rare item which would certainly sound fantastic but with some cosmetic issues, I am starting this at a price well below that achieved on eBay by recent examples.
