Description
Available here is a 12" vinyl LP by Elixir - The Son of Odin. Privately pressed, this was the band’s debut album and is now quite rare and much sought after. Issued in the UK by Elixir Records in 1986, it’s a 1st (and only) pressing with the catalogue number ELIXIR 2. It comes complete with the lyric insert and a merchandise flyer.
Identifiers - This copy has the requisite marks as expected, namely -
Matrix / Runout - Side A - Etched - SRT-6KL-806-A SRT
Matrix / Runout - Side B - Etched - SRT-6KL-806-B SRT
Vinyl Condition - Excellent - The record is extremely bright and clean - certainly no scratches and no obvious surface marks either. Having listened all the way through, I can confirm that there is no jumping or sticking, although the odd light click may be heard. Background crackle/noise is almost non-existent and in any event lost behind the rocky sound.
Sleeve Condition - Excellent - Minor edge/corner wear to the sleeve but no damage. Plain white inner sleeve as issued with light wear. Lyric sheet has a couple of minor creases with a small edge split, while the advertising flyer is pristine.
