Description
You are bidding on a rare, original, vintage, folk guitar, LP record album by Elizabeth Cotten from 1958, "Folksongs and Instrumentals With Guitar", on the Folkways record label, #FG 3526. The jacket is in excellent condition, still in the original shrink wrap, with bright and vibrant colors. The classic blue, with silver print, Folkways labels are in excellent condition. There are light touches of spindle hole usage evidence. The vinyl is in excellent, tremendous condition. The mirror-like, original vinyl gloss is tremendous. Please note: The number on the jacket cover "FG 3256" and the labels is the same. However, the title on the jacket is, "Elizabeth Cotten Folksongs And Instruementals With Guitar". The title on the labels is, "Negro Folk Songs And Tunes Sung and Played by Elizabeth Cotten". Included also is the is the bi-fold insert of a write-up about Elizabeth Cotten, the song titles and lyrics, with three black and white photos of Elizabeth Cotten playing the guitar and singing with young children as her audience. (see photo). The insert is in excellent condition.
