Hello and welcome. Beginning in the 1960s, I made it my goal to collect every 5-star record still available, and I continued my search for 40 years. While not all the records I list for sale reached that lofty goal, they do represent an undying search for the unique and wonderful in the world of sound. TITLE & ARTIST: "Volume 3: When I'm Gone" by Elizabeth Cotten on the Folkways Records label (FA 3537), in beautiful original monophonic sound, issued in 1979. 
CONDITION: SLEEVE - EX(Original sleeve has light overall and edge wear and light soiling front and back; NOTE: Includes the original 12 page full size booklet - please see actual album in photos); RECORD - Excellent("Folkways" record is shiny and clean with some light scuffs - visually graded under special daylight balanced spotlight).  
SPECIAL FEATURES: Now for some FOLK for "The Folk Blues Crowd" - this remarkable collection of original Elizabeth Cotten songs and traditional folk blues is an absolute treasure. The music is captivating, and the album includes the original 12-page full size booklet, filled to the brim with extensive biographical and discographical information, not to mention a fabulous cover photo. This is the original issue, not the later re-issue, and it is a jewel not to be missed.

OUR GRADING SYSTEM: We grade visually, and we are happy to listen to any LP and give you an aural grade as well. SS (Still Sealed as from the factory); NM (Near Mint - our highest grade; the vinyl has only a very few light marks that do not affect play); VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus - a few more light marks than Near Mint; still a great record that plays near perfectly); VG+ (Very Good Plus - an enjoyable, played and loved, obviously used but still listenable record, usually with some light pops, but free of major audible distraction; jacket may be lightly worn, slightly dinged, even very lightly split, but NEVER trashed); VG (Very Good) and below - we usually do NOT sell these, but if we have some good reason to offer such a record, we will explain completely). Thanks!
