Highlights From Her Public And Private Life In Excerpts Of BBC Recordings By The Queen And Her Family With A Commentary Spoken By The Poet Laureate, Sir John Betjeman.

The souvenir booklet which accompanies the record illustrates the Queen's life from childhood, and provides a fascinating background to the personality of Elizabeth II.

Condition (refer also to notes at bottom):
Vinyl – VG-EX. A wonderfully clean surface showing no signs of wear or marks. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is superb throughout. No skipping, jumping or sticking. A great listening experience to this souvenir of interesting historical recordings!
Cover - EX. Colours remain unfaded and bright. Minor corner and aperture nicks, but edges are clean and undamaged. Slight vein-like creasing across front. A few creases on reverse outer gate. Inner is clean and undamaged. Superb. Sticker in top right corner of cover reads: ‘Decca Salutes Royal Jubilee Year’. A fine example overall.
Sleeve – EX. Original Decca. White ‘window’ paper with plastic lining and blue writing on one side. Minor folding and creasing all over; intact.
Booklet – EX. Original. Clean and intact. No folding, tears or scuffs.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
