By now if you are bidding for vinyl, you are familiar with a number of grading standards. I follow Goldmine to the letter, grading conservatively vinyl, label, insert and cover. I have been listening to music all my life and collecting for the past 40+ years, so I understand how important accuracy is when describing the condition of the vinyl that is being sold. My rating reflects that precisely. I grade visually and spot check the audio quality playing back on a Goldring turntable with a Ortofon cartridge, powered by a modest NAD 304 Integrated AMP with a pair of near monitor Fanfare Acoustics speakers.

All the records I will be selling are from my personal collection or very special acquisitions from other private collections.

I will not sell a recording I would not buy for my personal enjoyment!

Vinyl Rating: Looks: VG+ with very nice sheen and some paper scuffs that do not affect sound quality. Labels have very little ware.

Sounds: VG++ with very little to no surface noise. Dare I say a NM-. Very clear with excellent acoustics.

Cover Rating: VG+ with round cut out in bottom left hand corner as seen on photograph (other wise would be a VG++), a "LAST" sticker on cover below Ella Fitzgerald, a faint stain in upper left corner and some very small check marks next to five of the fourteen songs. There is no ring ware, splits or bends. A very solid rigid and colorful cover. New inner sleeve.

About this recording: The most amazing vocals set to some of the greatest songs in jazz. If you have not heard this record, you are missing out of one of the best vocal recordings of all time. You will not be dissapointed. This is trully the best female vocal recording ever!
