For sale is an ORIGINAL box-set: "ELLA FITZGERALD Sings the George and Ira Gershwin Songbook," on Verve records, MG V-4024-8, Mono, DG, 1959. The set contains five LP's, one 7' EP, five Bernard Buffet lithographs, drawn especially for these albums and suitable for framing, and a hard-cover book by Lawrence D Stewart, "The Gershwins - Words Upon Music."
The record has NOT been play-graded, because...
VINYL: MINTI can state with 100% confidence, these 5 LP's have never been handled, let alone played. They are flawless, like new! Guaranteed. 
The 7" EP HAS been played--- it shows a couple faint spindle-marks and faint handling. Still at least a NM disc.
JACKET: NMThe box shows some minor, routine aging, but is fully intact and in solid, nice condition. 
The 5 lithographs are in sharp, MINT condition... like new! The hard-cover booklet is also in brand-new, MINT condition. Crisp, brightly clean pages are pristine! The spine is newly-stiff, the book does not lie flat on its own.

It is a miracle to find a 64-year old box set like this! Looks like it just came off the press! Book and lithographs are MINT! If you've wanted to own this set, there is simply no possibility of finding a better one! Buy it for $400.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. When play-tested, I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability. 
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.  
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
