Dont forget!

THIS IS NOT YOUR USUAL EBAY BATCH - REPEAT!!! THIS IS NOT YOUR USUAL EBAY BATCH
If names like Fantazia, Obsession, Dreamscape, Perception, Vision, Universe or DJs like Mickey Finn, Ellis Dee, Slipmatt, Seduction, Ratpack, Grooverider, Sasha, DJ Phantasy, Sy and DJ Hype are familiar to you, then you have come to the right persons auctions! I have been collecting records now for over 15 Years but due to very serious financial difficulties I am now having to sell off to the highest bidders.

This ISN'T your average ebay batch of unwanted, clearouts or a dealers collection find of an average collection At one point I had thousands of records and have since trimmed down to only a few hundred , so what you see here is the CREAM. All of the titles you see here are from the days when huge events for tens of thousands of people were happening up and down the country every weekend. This was when dance music was at it's BIGGEST and BEST and I'm now auctioning off some of the best tunes of that golden era in dance music history. THE BEST OF THE BEST !!!

If like myself and most others, you found it hard tracking tunes by trying to sing a 303 noise to the guy in the record shop back then, then check out the MP3 clips which are on every auction and to put names to those tunes which put wind up your spine and tears in your eyes.

The number of oldskool collectors appearing on the cogs has increased massively over the past year which makes me wonder if buying them back for myself when I'm a retired old boy might be harder than i'm wishing for, but I'm a window cleaner and the dreadful weather this year along with the fact that all my teeth have fallen out (along with a string of other bad luck:( ) means I have been able to do very little work - so I'm in a spot of bother to say the least and i simply don't have any choice in the matter. I have a feeling im going to regret this but the debt is almost reaching 5 figures, people are knocking and with a rainy winter ahead, I can't see much window cleaning going on and so I need teeth in order to get a job and dig out of this hole. Everything else has been sold and my borrowing options are all burnt out - I simply don't have any other options :(

EVERYTHING is going - absolutely everything - rare hardcore like Finest Illusion Il-egal mix, Tango Project, Techno Brewster, Agent Orange, Skanna Nightstalker + other skanna, Freestyle Madness, Freestyle Ten 44, Ruffneck Bizzniss, Deaf in the Family, Nick Ball, 4U2B in XTC, B-Free EP ORIGINAL, Disco NHS, DJ Jinx Paradise Project , End of beginning tp, xenophobia, Babylon Timewarp, (lift your voice up to the sky:), Seal Blame Shadow Promo, Nite Walker, Moog/Rush Hour Orig, DJ Business, Liquid Crytal Stuff, Andy C Stuff Inc Bass Logic, Sour Mash etc, FBD Project Stuff like the Deep-end-dance EP, Core and Blasted Remix. , Slammin vinyl 1-5, Rabbit City 1-7, Energizer 1-4, Universe 1 and 2 signed by Dave Charlesworth, Tom and Jerry 1-8, Invisible Man stuff, GCG 28 Gun Badboy / Digital Badboy and THATS JUST THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG for the hardcore - OVER 300 RARE TUNES ALL GOING UNDER THE HAMMER - ALL BIG ONES - NOT A SINGLE DUD.

There is some quality jungle in here too. When jungle first came out, it was like a long mourning process for me as the hardcore was what I truly loved and longed for its return, which sadly never happened until HHC, but over the years i have warmed greatly to some of the jungle and the tunes i have listed are only those very big tunes which are imo so good that they appeal cross-genre to those who wouldn't normally listen to that type of music. A lot of jungle with hardcore influence.

Rare 1993-1997 jungle/DnB Like a Smokers Inc Promo of mash dem down, Jo R-Type, Underworld the rising, Unreleased shadow 50 Promo with Running the Family, Two-on-one issue 1-9, Lighter Original, as well as all the big tunes like Ricky, Scottie and both Johnnies lol, RUDE1, Redskins Stuff Latest lick EP etc(RARE!), Ram Stuff valley shadows remix etc, Bukem stuff, Goldie Stuff, Earliest Ed Rush Stuff, the Nine, etc etc

(Soundfiles usually contain clips from more than one track on the vinyl)

BANDWIDTH EXCEEDED? If the clip fails to loads due to transfer/bandwidth limits, you can find a copy of the file HERE andHERE

ABOUT SOUNDCLIPS :
Soundclips are reduced in size for faster downloading and to keep under my hosts bandwidth. This does however have an effect on the sound quality of the recording, especially when you consider that I have been using a £3.99 soundcard, freeware recording software and mickey mouse decks (see my other items lol). Also, I saved them as complete wavs then converted to 160kbs mp3. and in fear of exceeding webspace bandwidth, I had to convert back from mp3 to wav, edit them down in size and then convert back into mp3 and im told all these processes will cause also loss in quality of the soundclip. I have not recorded full mp3 files out of respect to the artists.

I recorded the soundclips first and when i came to play the records for the purpose of grading them, some of the vinyls would expell a bit of debris from the grooves which is sometimes inevitable if you don't play them for a long time. So basically, if the soundclip that you listen to does not match the condition rating then it is likely that any noise should diminish after a few plays as vinyl can sometimes require a few play throughs after being cleaned in order to get normal results. But it was a real mammoth of a task to record all these and I there is absolutely no chance of me being able play them thru AND then re-record 200+ hours worth of music. If you need any clarification for anything, CLICK HERE to send me an email, although i may not be able to answer all queries very quickly due to the volume of items of interest up at once, but all questions will be anwsered before end of play on the last day in October.

Also, I have been getting up and down, making cups of tea and food etc while recording all these, the dogs/cat running crazy around the flat and its possible I may have nudged my desk on a number of occasions, so if ANY of the clips have big bangs or jumps, please let me know by sending me an email, but if this is the case, please ignore it. If any tune jumps this is definitely an accident and in the very highly unlikely event that it is not the case, the auction will be void and no payment will be due or if you already paid then a full refund including your postage cost will be given. I am hoping there are no jumps in the clips, but again, i havent got time to check 200+ hours worth of music right now, so i thought i'd mention it just in case.

ABOUT CONDITION :
OK, theres a lot here about condition here, but it is a big issue with most collectors, so please spare a minute or 2 to read the following. I have been on ebay now for over 7 years and in that time, I've seen some very poor use of the english language when it comes to describing records, usually by people who find it convenient to grade their records in a badly lit room without listening to them. 'Good' meaning 'Bad', 'Excellent' meaning 'good', 'Mint' meaning 'very good+' are the usual complaints or sometimes even worse. Of course it can also swing the other way with 'good' meaning 'excellent' etc, but unfortunately as you probably know, you seem to get more of the former. After many years experience on ebay and elsewhere, with me the conditions are how they should be :- nr mint means nr mint, excellent means excellent. NONE of my tunes jump and although the vast majority of them are in fantastic unworn condition without any major scratches (I'm not a DJ), any exceptions to this will be clearly stated and any such stated moments will always be included within the soundclip for you to make to make your own judgement !
The vast majority of my records are between mint and excellent condition and come with the original sleeves. Any with Pen or marks on the label will be stated but 99% of them dont have any pen or marker as this is something which annoys the hell out of me. You wouldn't spray "Get in other side" on your car passenger door would you :D

Here is my condition ratings guide, please read it carefully.

""MINT""
Records that are described as "MINT CONDITION":- Even though a lot of my vinyls look and sound new, according to one of the discography ratings guides, mint MUST mean "unplayed, prefferably sealed". So because I have recorded every single vinyl, none of them can be officially graded as mint despite some of them being in A1 pristine condition. (although imo it's patronising to suggest a 15 year old vinyl can be sold as unplayed unless its old stock finds, yet its happening constantly on ebay - It makes me wonder who buys a record and then keeps it for 15 years without playing it. In my opinion, you cannot tell if a brand-new-looking vinyl has been played or not, so the criteria is a little flawed, but regardless of my opinion on this, MINT means UNPLAYED AND looks and sounds like NEW - A1 Pristine Faultless Gorgeousness

""EXCELLENT""
Records that are described as "EXCELLENT CONDITION":- Has been played very little throughout it's life and has clearly been well respected and cared for. On close inspection in bright light you may find a few VERY FEINT lines, but only a very very minimal amount and the vinyl in duller light will appear in mint condition. The sound quality will be unaffected or at worst very minimally affected - almost as new!!

""VERY GOOD+""
Records that are described as "VERY GOOD+ CONDITION":- Pretty much the same as the goldmine/discogs version - May have a few light surface marks and possiblylight noise in the ambient moments/intro, but again, this will be only minimal and the vinyl still plays very very close to perfect if not perfect and again, in dull light this vinyl may appear as new.

""VERY GOOD""
Records that are described as "VERY GOOD CONDITION":- Will have a more light marks/surface scratches than an ex or VG+ that and prehaps occasional light crackles or the odd click, although it is possible with some vinyls that any such wear may be cosmetic and still sounds spot on, especially with tougher vinyls like subbase stuff. Perhaps not perfect cosmetically, but still definetly publicly playable. Again, any significant noise on the vinyl will be included within the audio clip

""GOOD""
Records that are described as "GOOD CONDITION":- Very few of my records are in this condition. If you read some of the ratings guide for good, they can be rather misleading. Will probably have occasional louder crackles/pops and/or consistent light noise, Maybe pen on the label etc but no jumps or long major scratches and despite not being cosmetically perfect is generally still pretty listenable and enjoyable if you aren't overly fussy.
