ELMO HOPE & ENSEMBLE: "SOUNDS FROM RIKERS ISLAND" LP - On AUDIO FIDELITY Records, AFLP 2119.  Rare original 1963 MONO vinyl 1st pressing with DEEP GROOVE labels!  Thick vinyl, thick cardboard cover.  Features members of Sun Ra's Arkestra.  The personnel:  Elmo Hope/piano; John Gilmore/tenor saxophone; Freddie Douglas/soprano saxophone; Lawrence Jackson/trumpet; Ronnie Boykins/bass; Philly Joe Jones/drums; Earl Coleman, Marcelle Daniels/vocals.  The vinyl is in M- condition (absolutely beautiful gloss)!!  Jacket is in VG++ shape with tight seams, still protected by vintage plastic wrap, displays wonderfully!  Very slight age discoloration at opening edge on back.  Top left corner tip slightly bumped with some small visible mildew spots.  No bar code, no cut-out markings, no seam splits, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.
