Description
Elmore James and John Brim - 'Tough' - 1968 mono LP on the collectable Blue Horizon label. Basically Elmore James contributes 8 tracks and John Brim four.
Catalogue Number is 7-63204.
Matrix run outs on the end wax are 7-63204 A1 and 7-63204 B1 (stamped).
Cover condition is perfectly reasonable and there are no major faults such as splits or tears. Rear is somewhat dirtied although this is subdued. There is also some ring wear to the rear. Spine and edges are undamaged. There are a couple of handling impressions / creases to the front cover.
Record has a good sheen and there are only a few tracking marks around the label centre hole. Vinyl does have some faint / light marks noticeable when held to the light however as well as one or two light scuffs. Surface noise is mainly apparent at the beginning of the sides and between tracks and is generally not a problem or intrusive when the music is playing despite being present at a background level. Is perhaps more noticeable on the latter part of side 1.
Record comes in a white poly lined inner sleeve.
I would therefore grade the record as VG+ for the cover and a strict VG for the record itself (although I am tempted to improve on this!).
I have not sold records on eBay for a good while but my previous feedback ratings do I believe show me to be a reliable seller. I intend to list perhaps half a dozen records from my own collection (I know that everybody says this!) as it seems the right time to perhaps get back into it again. Due to the current situation I only wish to sell within the UK - apologies to anyone abroad who might have been interested.
