ELMORE JAMES

To Know A Man

Elmore James' last two recording sessions before his death in Chicago in 1963 including all the takes, the chat, the false starts that occur in the studio process. The band includes the hitherto mysterious 'Bushy Head' now revealed to be the very well-travelled and much used sideman, Johnny 'Big Moose' Walker on piano.

1969 Blue Horizon 766230 Double Album

VINYL: Excellent, minimal low level surface noise with occasional clicks, all generally inaudible under the music.

MATRICES: A1/B1/C1/D1

LABEL: Standard

INNER: White

INSERT: None

SLEEVE: VG+, gatefold with some feathering and light creasing. 1" repaired tear to the front right bottom half of the sleeve with what looks like a very small singe mark immediately under. No other damage.
