RARE & LIMITED EDITION
LP in RED VINYL from 1976:
“A NEW WORLD RECORD”
by
ELO
Although it is used, and is 46 years old ( ! ) it truly looks to be in
BRILLIANT Condition, & sounds great !
Outer Sleeve : (See above photos) .
- Front, spine and back cover of this wonderful sleeve are all in TRULY GREAT CONDITION.
- Original “Limited Edition Coloured Vinyl” sticker still fully in place
- In common with other ELO “New World Record” LPs of this pressing, there is a small area on the front & back where the shiny finish has “blown” near the spine.
- Otherwise, no scratches / creases / rips / tears / writing etc visible on this wonderfully iconic cover.
- The inside of the sleeve shows only minor yellowing, in keeping with its age. But no ragged / damaged edges along the opening etc.
- The spine is in great condition, showing no signs of any wear or damage, apart from small amounts of wear on the corners. ALL printing on the spine is VERY clear and undamaged.
CBS Records Reference: JETLP 200
Inner Sleeve(s): (See above photos).
- NEAR MINT Condition. No splits / scuffs / rips / tears / creases / writing / marks whatsoever. All edges, writing & photos are in BRILLIANT condition. Corners / edges of the inner sleeve are shaped / die cut, as shown in the photos.
FANTASTIC LOOKING RED VINYL: (See above photos) .
Near Mint / Excellent Condition.
Side 1: Matrix / “run out” appears to read :
JET LP 200-A5
Side 2: Matrix / “run out” appears to read :
JET LP 200-B3
Both sides look to be in truly great condition with no visible signs of any scratches or other marks.
No marks at all around the “spindle hole”, on either side of the vinyl.
HAVING NOT PLAYED THIS LP FOR MANY, MANY YEARS, I BORROWED A TURNTABLE FROM A FRIEND TODAY AND HAD A FANTASTIC AFTERNOON LISTENING TO THIS GREAT ALBUM, BEFORE LISTING IT HERE. THANKFULLY IT SOUNDED AS GOOD AS EVER. ALL TRACKS SOUNDED GREAT, WITH NO JUMPING ETC.
VISUAL CHECKS, ( INCLUDING USING A STRONG LIGHT ETC.) SAW MAYBE ONE FAINT HAIRLINE MARK. BUT LISTENING TO THE WHOLE ALBUM CONFIRMED THAT THIS DID NOT AFFECT THE SOUND QUALITY ETC.
(PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS GENERALLY ACCEPTED THAT THE SOUND QUALITY ON COLOURED VINYL IS NOT QUITE AS GOOD AS ON TRADITIONAL BLACK VINYL.)
All photos are of the LP cover, inner sleeve and vinyl that you will be buying and are as accurate as my camera lens will allow. Apologies if its fantastic true colours & condition have not been fully captured.
Please note that I only sell genuine items, accurately described,
hence my positive feedback from well over 2,000 transactions on eBay.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS RECORD IS FROM MY OWN COLLECTION. I BOUGHT IT BRAND NEW, IN AROUND 1976. I AM NOT A DEALER.
I ALWAYS STRIVE TO DESCRIBE MY ITEMS 100% ACCURATELY AND WILL THEREFORE ALWAYS LIST ANY FLAWS OR DAMAGE THAT I AM AWARE OF.
If you wish, your LP can be posted with the record and inner sleeve outside of the outer sleeve, to prevent it marking the outer cover.
IT IS BEING SOLD FROM A SMOKE FREE HOME.
It will be posted within 2 working days of your payment being received.
IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE ASK.
