Beautiful, UNPLAYED, ORIGINAL 1975 issue >> Never been on a turntable nor touched by a needle (See Details Below).
Check out all Eight photos to see this Unplayed 1975 MCA 1st issue of ELTON JOHN's Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy LP (MCA Records #MCA-2142 with etchings in the runout/deadwax zones: "MCA 734 W13" / "MCA 735 W17") featuring my favorite EJ song: "Someone Saved My Life Tonight", as well as "Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy", "Tower of Babel", "Bitter Fingers", "Tell Me When the Whistle Blows", "(Gotta Get a) Meal Ticket", "We All Fall In Love Sometimes", "Curtains", and others... >> NEVER BEEN PLAYED (See below for detailed LP description).
I bought this one last Spring & REMOVED ITS FACTORY WRAP to inspect (and to take a few photos) because I originally had plans to keep it as part of my listening library but I haven't owned a turntable in a few years & it will probably be a while before I buy a new one, IF I buy one at all. My loss is your gain. No one else has access to my collection so I am 1000% certain that it has only been handled (very briefly) by me.
I've been surfing eBay for two years and have built up a collection of over 400 cherry-picked vintage LPs (99.9% factory sealed) and I've decided to sell them.
>> Shimmering mid-weight vinyl is in factory-fresh condition (just as you would expect).
>> Very Nice Medium-gloss Gatefold cover (one of my all-time favorites) with one corner bump to the upper left & wear spots to all four corner tips (from 35 years of tight shrinkwrap Plus a small bit of shrinkwrap wearing thin in those zones); a few small crease-wrinkles mostly associated with the edges; NO discoloration, NO water damage, NO cutouts nor punch holes; NO promo stamps; NO seam splits; Very slight hint of vinyl ring impression on the front cover but NO wear; spine print is perfectly centered; NO Record Club; NO Barcode, of course. Two small indentations (about the size of a BB ) on the backside (not very noticeable until you look for it and the angle of the light hits it just right).
>> LOADED with extras: Large foldout poster of the cover's artwork PLUS Two booklets with Lyrics & Photos & art depicting his early career >> As with all posters, booklets, posters, stickers, etc... that accompany my LPs: Mint, factory-fresh, & handled delicately for the 1st & only time in order to take photos for these ads.

IMPORTANT: Buyer pays for shipping >> I ship in good boxes and can ship up to 4 single LPs in one box. To save you shipping $$$, it's Media Mail: $4 for 1 single LP plus 50 cents for each additional single LP up to 4 total LPs in each box. Second box would likewise ($4 for 1LP + 50 cents for each LP up to box capacity, etc...). Double LP would count as 2 single LPs. I can also ship outside the continental U.S. but that usually gets a little expensive so please keep that in mind.
