Description
Rare true first UK pressing of Elton John's all-time Classic, Madman Across the Water, on D.J.M. Records. Features everyone's favorite, Tiny Dancer. Original textured gatefold cover with attached lyric and photo book. Dark red vinyl pressing (hard to tell until you hold it to the light - see photo).
This copy is in lovely condition. The disc has some visible scuffs and light marks but I had it ultrasonically cleaned and it plays NM. There is on occasion a light crackle between songs but usually not even that. Really I have rarely heard better, despite the marks. The cover has light wear but not at all what you normally sew on these textured covers, which wear out easily. This copy has some edgewear and corner rubbing, with the disc starting to poke through the spine a little (not actually split, though). Aside from that it is still just beautiful. Barely any ringwear (a little on the back) and barely any rubbing-off on the front, which is common with the texturing. The booklet is perfect. A great copy.
