Cover: Textured 'Gothic Print Finishers' manufactured gatefold cover with internal stapled booklet is Near Mint. No writings, doodles or seam splits. It's hard to believe that this cover is 43 years old. Fabulous  condition - you will struggle to find a better one than this.    Labels: Near Mint. No writings, doodles or stickers.   Vinyl: Not play tested. The condition looks to be Near Excellent with a nice sheen and only light surface marks/hairlines. Lightly played and well cared for. This is the rare 'red' vinyl pressed by PYE which is highly sought after by Elton John collectors. Just hold the vinyl up to the light and you can see a deep red transparent hue. Not played for many years - so might benefit from a light clean before playing. Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.

Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches.

 

Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and more signifcant scratches.

 

Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.

 

Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc

 

Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
