ELVIS: Aloha From Hawaii 2 LP

HAND SIGNED BY THE KING

Signed September 2nd 1974 in Las Vegas!

This is the most amazing thing I have ever seen! I have seen (and owned) several Elvis autographs in my time but none as beautiful as this. This ended up in my collection with several other signed Elvis pieces after a very close family friend past away a few years back. She was British (from Yorkshire!) but had lived in the USA between 1969 and 1981 after marrying a rich husband.

She was there are the famous 'Desert Storm' concert in Vegas, where Elvis ranted and raved about the allegations about him and... well, you all know about the concert. She said she left the concert a few minutes early and waited for Elvis afterward and she and her friend did not think he would stop but he did and he graciousl;y signed the LP she had carried with her all day.

She said Elvis did not mention the concert or ask her if she liked it etc, he just took the LP, signed it, then the guys moved him away.

She met Elvis several times and each time got his autograph - of course Elvis never recognised her - she was just one of the millions! This was the last LP she had signed by Elvis and I really do not want to sell this at all but an expensive move is forcing me. I want this to go to a good home where it will be loved.

There is no COA with this. There was one, I do not know who from, which she always kept separate from the record. After she died we never found it.

The AUTOGRAPH is the most amazing ever!! It is signed in BLUE ink, and looks like thin marker pen. It is bright and shiny and looks as though it could have been done yesterday! This has been framed since it was signed and kept out of direct sunlight.

THE RECORD AND SLEEVE are a UK pressing. It was bought at the beginning of '74 so I don't think it's a '73 first pressing. It does have the original insert with the track listing which is in EXCELLENT condition. The COVER is beautiful - there are some 'dents' in the bottom of the cover - front and back - caused by the frame. These have not ruined anything and are only really noticable in strong light, but they are there. BOTH records are in EXCELLENT condition - they were played many times before the autograph was added but play beautifully. They have not been played since.
