Description
COLLECTOR'S FIND: "Everyday I Play the Boot," Elvis Costello & The Attractions - CLASSIC LIVE SETS!
I don't pretend to know the origins of this double-LP set, but it appears to combine four different EP's: "Blitzkrieg," "Cornered on Plastic," "Shaken, Not Stirred," and "Our Aim Is True." Released by Off*Beat Records with no corporate address, city, or date. I can't vouch for the recording quality or accuracy of the track listings, because I haven't wanted to play it -- the records are in such excellent shape, I'm afraid to scratch them.
CONDITION: Visually graded, the records are NM, each in original white paper sleeve. One disc has a bright orange lable illustrated only with a 1940s-era cartoon of Batman's nemesis, The Joker. The other has the same graphic on a plain white background -- no other label information.
The cover is slightly edge- and shelf-worn, about VG condition, and needs to be reglued at two spots. (I'll leave that to the winning bidder; I know how fussy collectors can be about repairs.) Overall, a very decent copy of an extremely scarce item for EC fans and British New Wave completists!
