Add'l Comments: WHAT A GREAT FIND FOR ELVIS COLLECTORS!  THIS 1956 ALL ORIGINAL EP WILL MAKE A GREAT ADDITION TO ANY ELVIS OR EARLY ROCK & ROLL COLLECTION.  CONDITION:  GREAT LOOKING AND SOUNDING VINYL.  THERE IS AN OCCASIONAL BIT OF STATIC BACKGROUND NOISE BUT, BY NO MEANS AN ISSUE.  LABEL IS A BEAUTY.  IT HAS THE DOG ON TOP ON THIS RELEASE (AS IT SHOULD BE).  BLACK INITIALS ON BLACK LABEL (1 SIDE ONLY).  CARDBOARD COVER STILL DISPLAYS GREAT - 53 YEARS LATER!  IT DOES SHOW SOME LIGHT AGE AND STORAGE WEAR, BOTTOM RIGHT HAS A 1" SEAM SPLIT, TOP RIGHT HAS A 3/4" SEAM SPLIT.  ALL THAT SAID, THIS IS A GREAT PIECE OF ROCK & ROLL VINYL HISTORY.  PLEASE EMAIL WITH ANY QUESTIONS PRIOR TO BIDDING.  LOW STARTING BID AND NO RESERVE.

Near Mint (NM) - "It looks like it just came from a retail store and was opened for the first time." NM records are shiny, with no visible defects. Writing, stickers, or other markings cannot appear on the label, nor can any spindle marks from someone trying to blindly put the record on the turntable.


Very Good Plus (VG+) - These records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. Minor signs of handling are OK, too, such as telltale marks around the center hole, but repeated play has not misshaped the center hole. There may be some very light ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticed.


Very Good (VG) - These records have more obvious flaws. The lack most of the original gloss found on factory-fresh records. Groove wear is evident on sight, as are light scratches, deep enough to feel with a fingernail. When played, a VG record has surface noise, perhaps even an occasional audible light scratch, especially in soft passages and during a song’’s intro and ending.


Lesser grades such as Good (G), Good Plus (G+), or Very Good Minus (VG-) will be addressed at time of listing.
