Description

Original Sun Records. (See 3 dimples that distinguish originals from copies.)

This is the first release that marketed Elvis with Scotty and Bill.  Future releases of this single marketed Elvis only.

Book value is $2000 - $3500.

 

Record is in good condition with wear.  Label has tear from what looks like a sticker once attached on the 'Good Rockin' Tonight' side.

Label wear also exists from turntable use.

 

Vinyl has scratches from use.  I played this on a very old turntable.  'Good Rockin' Tonight' has no skips.  'I Don't Care If The Sun Don't Shine may have had a 'quick' skip at the very end.  It may have been the turntable also.   Both have the SUN RECORDS crackling noise.

Comes in 'plain' sleeve.  Not sure if original.  I know the originals were plain with no pictures as this one is.
