EXTREMELY RARE GREEN LABEL DEMO

Most Elvis vinyl collectors are aware of how rare this sort of disc is. What you have here is a single-sided, TRI-CENTRED, green label demo from 1957, pressed by the Decca Record Company on behalf of RCA.

As you will see from the label there is some scribble on the left side (someone’s name?) but otherwise the label is clear, apart from the detail added at the factory when it was manufactured. The condition of the vinyl is at least VG in my view (though I’ve not played it) and the vinyl is bright and there are no scratches evident.

All of these demos are increasingly rare and hard to find but the very early ones are especially difficult to locate, particularly in good condition, as so very few were manufactured. This was one side of Elvis’ second UK single release on RCA in 1957 (RCA 1020).

Because of its age, condition and rarity value, I’m starting this record out at a sensible and realistic starting price.
