This is a white label RCA 45 rpm PROMO rcord by Elvis Presley. This is from my personal collection, that I have had for a lot of years. It has'nt been played for at least 20 to 25 years. I bought most of my Elvis records for display on my rec.room walls to add to my Elvis collection. I always had a juke box for other records, including Elvis. I can give you a little history about this record, because I remember buying this record at a rural farm auction in Oshkosh Wisconsin. I bought a box full of records, (cheap) and this was one of the records I found in the box. I remember hoping I would find the picture sleeve for it in the box also, but no such luck, but I was just happy to have found this record. And the reason I remember that is because at another estate auction about 10 or 12 years later in Forest Junction, Wisconsin, I again bought a bunch of records with a bunch of sleeves, and this sleeve was one of them with the records. It had an Elvis record in it, but not the SP-162, but I always remembered because I thought, what were the odds of finding the record and the sleeve at 2 differant auctions 10 or12 years apart. I no longer have a player for any records, but this record is in excellent playing condition. Both the vinyl and the label are clean, no unwanted writing, stickers etc. Both sides of the label read: RCA VICTOR - ELVIS PRESLEY AIR-PLAY SPECIAL - S- 45-162 (NOT FOR SALE-FOR DJ's ONLY). The songs are: "HOW GREAT THOU ART" and "SO HIGH". The picture sleeve is a Black and White, and it's in good condition, reads: RCA VICTOR SP-45-162 along with NOT FOR SALE on the front. The top open edge is a little rough, with small tiny tears, and it has some slight ring wear, the center front has some wear spots, not bad. The back in part reads: FOR RADIO STATIONS ONLY - FOR PROGRAMMING ONLY - NOT FOR SALE. The back has slight ring wear again with a little wear, but again, not bad. It does'nt have open seams, stickers, or unwanted writing. From the time I had the sleeve, I never kept a record in it anymore, which I did with all my picture sleeves, I kept the records in a RCA dust sleeve. Because of the paper sleeve damage, I am listing it low, which is mostly for the value of the record. I will sandwich it between 1/2 inch strophome inside my package when mailing.
