Description
You are bidding on a rare, original, vintage, LP record album, by Elvis Presley, entitled, "Clambake", produced in 1967 on the RCA Victor record label, Stereo #LSP-3893. This record is the soundtrack of the blockbuster movie. The front cover states, "RCA VICTOR presents ELVIS IN THE ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK ALBUM FROM THE UNITED ARTISTS PICTURE "CLAMBAKE" A LEVY-GARDNER -LAVEN PRODUCTION". The album comes with the original color photo insert of Elvis and Priscilla at their wedding (see photos), in excellent condition with bright and vibrant colors. Also included is the original sticker, advertising the photo, that is affixed to the original shrink wrap. The shrink wrap is excellent with the exception of on three inch tear on the back side from the left edge towar the middle. This is hardly noticeable against the brilliance of the back cover colors. The advertising sticker states, "SPECIAL BONUS FULL COLOR PHOTO INSIDE THIS ALBUM OF ELVIS AND PRISCILLA SPECIALLY AUTOGRAPHED THIS OFFER FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY". The shrink wrap and advertising sticker are in excellent condition, the latter with bright and vibrant colors. The jacket is in excellent condition, with bright and vibrant colors on both the front and the back side, which has four color photos of Elvis from the movie. The edges and corners of the jacket are excellent. The labels are in excellent condition with the exceptions beingthe smallest speck of wear on one spindle hole. There is a scratch on the other label side (see photo). The vinyl is in excellent condition. I could find only a few, faint scratches, observable under light, when examining closely and tilting the record back and forth. The blazing, mirror-like vinyl gloss is tremendous. The shrink wrap, on the back side, has a sticker by the upper right hand corner that has the letter "E". Included also is the original inner sleeve, which advertises other Elvis records (see photos), in excellent condition. This record, jacket, and sleeve are beautiful. This is a three day, no reserve auction.
