EXTREMELY RARE & WIDELY SOUGHT AFTER... ELVIS' 1ST ALBUM, 1ST CANADIAN PRESSING WITH BLUE (ERROR) LABEL AND P.D. CREDITED FOR THE SONG "JUST BECAUSE"

- This is a very rare RCA Victor Canadian release with a blue label with silver print. RCA erroneously started to print this release with the blue label, but it didn't take long for RCA to change the non-conforming blue label to the more familiar silver and grey label. Therefore, only a relative few of the blue label presses were released.
JUST BECAUSE: Credited to P. D. (Public Domain) in this release.

"LONG PLAY" is spelled out on the label
"ELVIS" is in DARK PINK
"PRESLEY" is in DARK GREEN
RCA Box is DARK GREEN with PALE PINK dog image to the right
ALBUM (VG-)
Spindle marks around the label. Noticeable surface scratches and scuffs on the vinyl. Background noise throughout most of the songs, although several of the songs sound pretty clean for its' age and wear, with pops every now and again. Absolutely NO skips.
COVER (G-)
Shelf wear. Two of the edges are taped and the third has a 2.5" or so split seam in the middle of the bottom edge. Rubbing to both front and back with what appears to be a removed sticker spot on the lower right corner of the front cover. The back cover has several mild coffee spill stains as well (a couple of drops plus about a 1" square area with a more concentrated coffee spill .That said, the colors on the front are still in good condition and the back looks good aside from the coffee stains and tape/tape marks.
Although the condition of this record and its' cover is average, this is a hard to find, very sought after record that will only become more difficult to find over time. It's definitely worth considering despite the less than remarkable (but better than fair/poor) condition rating.
