Limited Edition ten inch vinyl box set (THAT WAS DESIGNED TO CONTAIN ALL OF THESE ELVIS 10" SINGLE RELEASES AND WAS ONLY AVAILABLE IF YOU MADE THIS ORIGINAL PURCHASE WITH BOX WELL OVER A DECADE AGO AND NEVER WAS SOLD INDIVIDUALLY. HOW VALUABLE IS THAT FOR THE COLLECTOR) released to coincide with the 30th Anniversary of the death of The King. The box itself will contain the 'Heartbreak Hotel' ten inch vinyl single plus space for 17 more ten inch vinyl singles to be released throughout the remainder of 2007. Each 10" vinyl release will be packaged in the original RCA generic bag. The 10" label will replicate the original 7" label artwork. Each 10" will be limited and individually numbered. BLUE SWEDE SHOES/LAWDY, MISS CLAWDY TAKE ONE - 10" SINGLE MADE IN THE UK - This is a re-issue of the 1956 Rock and Roll classic Blue Suede Shoes. Due to an agreement between RCA and Sun Records Elvis' version of the song was not released as a single in the US, it was released on his first album and on an EP (Sun Records was concerned that an Elvis single of it would hurt their sales of Carl Perkins' version). Despite that, Elvis version was still a top 20 hit in the US. It was an even bigger hit overseas where it was released as a single. This release includes the original B-side, Tutti Frutti, plus an excellent bonus recording of Lawdy Miss Clawdy. A nice collector's item.

3. Any Way You Want Me (That's How I Will Be) - Elvis Presley  

I think "If I Can Dream" may be Elvis' most underappreciated song. This is a very powerful and moving song. It was featured in his 1968 TV special and released as a single soon after it aired. It just missed the top 10 in both the US and UK, but it signaled a return to recording serious music leaving behind the mediocre movie soundtracks that he had been recording in the prior years. This is a re-issue of the UK single, which featured "Memories" (also performed on the TV special) as the flip side - they were released as two separate singles in the US. Memories made the US top 40 peaking at 35. While both these songs are available on his 2nd to None LP, this is a nice collector's item for avid fans.
