"All Shook Up"/"That's When Your Heartaches Begin" (RCA) 447-0618 + Rare PS MINT!

"All Shook Up" originally appeared in 1957 when "Elvis Mania" was at a fever pitch. The catchy tune by Otis Blackwell (who also wrote "Don't Be Cruel" & many other Elvis hits) stayed on top of the charts for an incredible 9 weeks beginning on April 13, 1957 becoming one of Elvis' all time biggest hits & spawning a national catch-phrase to boot. Elvis re-recorded "That's When Your Heartaches Begin" for the flip-side. He had originally recorded this mournful ballad, along with "My Happiness" as his first acetate in 1953. This pressing is the "Gold Standard Series" issue from 1965- appearing with a different picture sleeve than the 1956 release. The full color front cover is a seldom seen "Fun In Acapulco" era publicity still, the back has a complete list of "Elvis Presley Singles" through 1965. It has U.S. RCA Victor black "dog on top" labels on a black vinyl record, all in beautiful condition. Sleeve has rarely been handled & is in pristine MINT condition. The record is in MINT unplayed condition with no scratches or scuffs. Overall condition M/M.
