Description
ELVIS PRESLEY – BLUE HAWAII (LPM-2426) RARE “MONO” PRESSING from 1963-64!
RECORD: VG+ with beautiful, glossy surfaces on this Hollywood pressing! There are just some very light surface scuffs that have very little effect on the audible performance; a few minor “ticks” in quieter areas of the music. This record was test-played in its entirety and played great from beginning to end with no skips or repeats! The RARE “MONO” labels are super clean and highly attractive with just a few very light spindle marks noticed under a bright light. These “MONO” and “STEREO” Silver Top labels were pressed in very limited numbers from late 1963 through late 1964 and most of them hail from the Hollywood pressing plant, like this example. This Original Soundtrack Recording was originally released in October of 1961 and includes the hit single, “Can’t Help Falling In Love / Rock-A-Hula Baby”. The matrix numbers end with 17S/19S.
COVER: VG++ (EXC) with some very light ring wear on each side. There are absolutely no seam splits, tape, writing or staple holes anywhere on this cover. There is some light swear on the bottom edge from being stored on a shelf. A couple minor corner bumps are also noticed. This is a very clean and fully original cover! The original turquoise colored “ELVIS’ Great LP Catalog” inner sleeve is included.
GOOD LUCK!
