Description
A great opportunity to buy a 7 inch VINYL single from the 50s by Elvis Presley called "Blue Moon".
This is a U.K. pressing released in 1956 on the H.M.V. label (POP 272) with "I Don't Care If The Sun Don't Shine" on the B side.
This has the PURPLE LABEL with GOLD PRINT, rarer than the issue with silver print.
The vinyl is in a clean, but only a GOOD condition. I always examine and grade records under a bright table lamp and there are many, many light surface marks noticeable, but nothing serious. I have played both sides and they play all the way through without any problem, but with light crackle on both sides. The recording however sounds great with a really clear echo sound it, making it really listenable.
The labels are clean and free from any stickers, writing or major defects, though the push-out centre appears slightly loose on one of the 4 prongs.
The record is housed in its original company sleeve in a Fair condtion. It is basically very fragile and has seam splits. The record will be placed in a new sleeve to prevent further damage to the original.
Considering its age, this is a very listenable example of an original 1950s R 'n' R Elvis single and should be of interest to avid collectors.
